🔧 Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic Production Engineer with hands-on experience in control valves or precision mechanical manufacturing. The role involves managing day-to-day production activities, ensuring quality, optimizing processes, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet delivery and performance targets.


🏭 Key Job Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and monitor daily production activities to achieve output, quality, and delivery targets.

  • Supervise shop-floor operations including machining, assembly, testing, and dispatch of control valves.

  • Ensure adherence to production SOPs, drawings, and quality standards.

  • Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, PPC, and Stores for smooth production flow.

  • Monitor and improve cycle time, productivity, and line efficiency.

  • Identify process bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement / lean initiatives.

  • Ensure compliance with safety norms, 5S, and ISO procedures.

  • Handle process documentation, production reports, and daily MIS.

  • Support NPD, trials, and process validation for new valve designs or components.

  • Troubleshoot production issues related to machining, assembly fitment, pressure testing, and performance.


🎯 Desired Candidate Profile

  • B.Tech / BE in Mechanical Engineering.

  • 2–5 years of experience in control valves / industrial valves / flow control equipment.

  • Strong understanding of machining processes, valve assembly, testing, and inspection.

  • Exposure to ISO 9001, quality tools, and shop-floor best practices.

  • Ability to read engineering drawings, BOMs, and process sheets.

  • Hands-on, shop-floor oriented with strong coordination and problem-solving skills.
