About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Consultant Intensivist to join the Critical Care team of a leading hospital in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to critically ill patients and managing complex ICU cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Manage patients requiring advanced critical care, including ventilator and hemodynamic support.
• Conduct daily ICU rounds and formulate individualized treatment plans.
• Manage medical and surgical emergencies and critically ill patients.
• Perform and supervise critical care procedures as per clinical requirements.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, consultants, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans based on clinical response.
• Ensure adherence to hospital protocols, infection-control practices, and patient-safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with patients’ relatives regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and prognosis.
• Participate in emergency response, code blue, and other critical-care activities.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Eligibility

• MD/DNB in Anaesthesia, General Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or equivalent qualification
• IDCCM/EDIC/IFCCM or equivalent Critical Care qualification preferred
• Relevant experience in ICU/Critical Care preferred.
• Strong clinical, communication, and decision-making skills.
